L&T-Valdel Engineering Limited (LTV) was formed in the year 2004 as a Joint Venture between Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), an Indian Multinational Engineering and Construction Conglomerate and Valdel Corporation Private Limited, pioneers in providing Engineering Services for Oil & Gas Industry.
The entity formerly known as John Brown Engineering was established in the year 1991 at Bangalore as a Joint Venture between John Brown Engineers & Constructors, UK, Global Leader in providing Engineering Services for Oil & Gas Industry and MSR Group its Indian Promoter for providing Integrated & Quality Engineering Services to meet the growing needs of Oil & Gas Sector in India. Subsequently in the year 1996 Kvaerner ASA, Norway acquired assets of John Brown. Later in the year 1999 MSR Group acquired entire stake.
