The major role of Operations is to carry out Project Management, Planning, Control and related activities to ensure project completion within the stipulated Time and Cost.

Capabilties
- Flexibility in organising project team either on task force form or in matrix Form.
- Project Cordination including vendor interaction, Scheduling Engineering activities with a view to dovetail with Customer's Construction Activities.
Knowledge Management
As a part of Continual improvement & learning, LTV has initated an in depth Knowledge Management program which is being launched in 3 stages, viz
- Stage - 1 Preparing functional specifications & past knowledge cataloging
- Stage - 2 Host the knowledge in INTRANET
- Stage - 3 Develop internationl KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) Capabillities.
Special Tools
Primavera - Software tool used to estimate Early Start / Early Finish /Late Start / Late Finish along with Preceeding & Succeeding activity of project.
Doctrack - Inhouse developed program used to transmit documents generated by LTV /received by LTV from Customers, day-to-day to and fro correspondence between LTV and its Customers.
Timetrack - Inhouse developed program used to monitor the time spent on each activity during Execution Stage of Project and productivity |
