The training function at L&T-Valdel aims at Training and Development of its vast potential of human resources to meet the needs of current and future business competence by providing the appropriate and necessary training.

The broad objective of training is to provide continuous learning to enable individuals to work at the optimum level of competence. Harnessing the full potential of the employees and provide them with every reasonable opportunity to improve their performance in their present jobs, or to prepare themselves for higher responsibilities in the Company.

Training shall be a strategic business function, contributing significantly to organizational, group and individual effectiveness and growth by fostering a strong learning culture. Greatest challenges for organizations today is creating a vibrant workplace that attracts, retains, and promotes talented employees through the Training and Development activities.

Owing to the unique nature of E&C business, our quest begins with identifying high performers to take leadership positions in Management, Execution and Technology. There is an ongoing pursuit to strike a balance between training and developmental inputs given to maintain sound technological base and enhanced business sharpness for employees through technical interaction, on-the-job training on various software skill, overseas assignment, field visits etc.

To improve the young talented engineer by setting the training activity and continues learning & encouragement for individual as well as organization development through interactive technical session with expert senior consultants.

Employees are nominated to participate in external Training Programs / Conferences / Seminars from time to time to seeks exposure to a variety of new ideas and concepts, which they will be able to apply and develop in their day to day work.
